Welcome to
Born in New England and now living in California, the sea has always had a deep emotional connection in my life. It is where I go to recharge my spirit and find peace. The sea and coastlines are what I love to photograph the most.
Primarily a self taught photographer, I've used many different films over the years, 4x5, medium format and 35mm, however the chemicals and wasted gallons of water was always something I disliked about the traditional wet darkroom. Using digital darkroom techniques allows me to create photographs that have less impact on the environment. My work is printed using fine art ultrachrome inks on cotton rag or bamboo papers. In addition, for every print sold, 10of the proceeds are donated to The Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our worldŌ³ oceans, waves and beaches.
We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from whence we came. - JFK

In a continuous effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible, all my photographs are printed on 290gsm archival paper made of Bamboo. The richness, texture and archival properties of this new paper is truly amazing.
Prints are available in the following sizes, numbered editions and are unmounted.
A handmade Platinum print is now available on some photographs.
